Metro State Campus Announcement:  Multi-campus Faculty of Color Mentorship Program (MCFCMP)

In spring of 2021, two members of Faculty of Color Mentorship Program (FOCMP) committee, Nantawan Lewis and Derrick Crim collaborated with faculty of color and administrators of Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Saint Paul College to develop a multi-campus grant proposal for funding through Office of Innovation and Collaboration, MinnState to implement Metropolitan State faculty of color mentorship program at the two institutions.  The proposal was approved and received an award of $148,000 for the duration of July 2021-August 2022.  Professor Nantawan Lewis serves as the project leader.

The grant committee thanks Presidents Ginny Arthur, Kent Hanson and Deidra Peaslee for their support.  We are appreciative of Provost Amy Gort for her vision for a multi-campus collaboration of the mentorship program, and are grateful for professor Alex Layne’s invaluable assistance in the grant writing process.
